According to Pew Internet, 85% of American are currently using the Internet for different activities. About 93% of teens (ages 12-17) and 95% of the millennials (ages 18-33) are online users of content, while 49% of teens and 43% of Millennials read blogs online.

Moreover, blogs rank high with consumers for trust, popularity and influence. According to Technocrati, when making overall purchase decisions, 45% of consumers rely on blogs to make decisions. In this respect, blogs trail only behind retail and brand sites. Moreover, blogs rank among the top five “most trustworthy” sources among consumers.
